Successful ARBURG fundraising campaign 05/02/2022 At the end of March, the ARBURG Partners, together with the ARBURG Works Council, called for a fundraising campaign for refugees from Ukraine. Donations from employees were tripled by the Partners – with the result that an impressive 150,000 euros were ultimately raised. On Wednesday 27 April 2022, the donation cheque was handed over to the deputy district administrator of the Freudenstadt district. Strong together The ARBURG fundraising campaign for refugees from Ukraine was intensively promoted throughout the company, including a video message on the intranet by ARBURG Managing Partner Renate Keinath, who is responsible for Human Resources Management. During the three-week period, employees donated a total of around 50,000 euros. ARBURG's Partners then tripled this substantial amount at the end of the campaign. Donations provide direct help The donation of 150,000 euros will benefit the Ukraine assistance programme of the district of Freudenstadt, which supports Ukrainian refugees in its Polish partner district of Tomaszowski as well as refugees from Ukraine who have been taken in by the district of Freudenstadt. Reinhard Geiser, Deputy District Administrator of the Freudenstadt district, accepted the symbolic cheque from Renate Keinath and Thomas Brunnenkant, Chairman of the Works Council. On behalf of the district, he thanked the ARBURG employees and Partners. The advantage, he explained, is that they have direct contact with their partner district in Poland, where around 20,000 refugees arrive every day, and can find out from local helpers exactly what is currently needed.

ARBURG at Plástico Brasil 2023 02/13/2023 During Plástico Brasil from 27 to 31 March 2023 in São Paulo, Brazil, ARBURG will be at stand I040 showcasing application examples of digitalisation and efficiency enhancement in the series production of plastic parts. The focus will be on the packaging sector. Hotspot for digitalisation and packaging technology On the stand, an ALLROUNDER 570 E GOLDEN ELECTRIC will be producing PP screw caps in an 8-cavity mould. The moulded parts have a diameter of 63 millimetres and a weight of 16.5 grams. A MULTILIFT SELECT robotic system is used to remove the components. The machine is equipped with ARBURG's "4.set-up" assistance system, which has a wide range of features to simplify set-up and conversion. aXw Control ScrewPilot ensures a stable filling process by regulating the position of the screw, which in turn results in a reliable process and high product quality. ARBURG will also be exhibiting an ALLROUNDER 630 H at Plástico Brasil. The machine produces IML containers with a capacity of 220 millilitres in a cycle time of around 5.5 seconds. The machine's GESTICA controller features a host of assistance functions offering set-up technicians and operators maximum convenience and extensive support. Both machines are interlinked with the ARBURG host computer system (ALS), meaning that visitors can experience first-hand the benefits offered by ALS. For example, indicators relating to current orders, shifts and production quality can be obtained at any time, making it possible to identify where targeted improvements can be made to the production process. This increases product quality and the availability of the system in the long term. 媒体专用:请下载文本和图片 媒体资料
ARBURG at TaipeiPLAS 2022 07/27/2022 From 27 September to 1 October at TaipeiPLAS - Hall 1F, Stand I0110 – ARBURG will be presenting the injection moulding of LSR closures made from a recyclate, as well as the "arburgXworld" customer portal and ALS, ARBURG’s host computer system. Sustainability - an issue of major importance for the future Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important issue in Taiwan too. An ALLROUNDER 420 C GOLDEN EDITION, for example, will process the Trucircle material from Sabic. Using a single-cavity mould from Taiwanese mould manufacturer Pass Card, the machine will produce a closure for edible oils that has to meet specific food-grade requirements. Digitalisation on the rise ARBURG’s portfolio at the trade fair will also be enhanced by the ALS ARBURG host computer system as well as the arburgXworld customer portal with its different apps. Here, attendees will get to see how the two systems can be used to retrieve, adapt and update quality, production planning, technology management and service management features across a company’s entire fleet of machinery and on all digital devices. 媒体专用:请下载文本和图片 媒体资料
