ALS user meeting and Smart Factory information day

Existing and prospective customers got to learn how to keep their production under control using digital tools at two interlinked events at ARBURG. The "Smart Factory" information day on 26 November 2025 was designed specifically for beginners, while the ALS user meeting on 26 and 27 November was designed for existing users of ARBURG's manufacturing execution system (MES). With around 160 attendees in total, both events were fully booked out.

Interesting insights into the MES and ARBUG customer portal

Among other things, the half-day "Smart Factory" information day focused on getting to know ARBURG's digital tools, such as the arburgXworld customer portal and the ARBURG host computer system ALS (the company's MES), and experiencing them live, as well as learning more about the benefits of digitalisation through success stories. At the user meeting the next day, ALS users were given detailed information about the new features and innovations in the ARBURG host computer system, the customer portal and the control assistants.

Practical presentations by users for users

The exclusive transfer of knowledge took place both days in the form of contributions by both ARBURG specialists and ALS users. For example, Lukas Krüger from Technical Sales at ARBURG explained how digital assistants can make companies more efficient, while keynote speaker Tobias Herwig, Managing Director of fischer Consulting GmbH, highlighted lean and digital processes for competitiveness in production in his practical presentation. The companies Sembach, Novapax, H&K Müller, ZF Lifetec, Trelleborg and Presspart offered further practical insights.
