ARBURG at Chinaplas 2026

From April 21 to 24, 2026, ARBURG will be exhibiting at Chinaplas in Shanghai, China, at Stand D42 in Hall 4.1. One highlight is the new electric ALLROUNDER TREND machine concept, which will celebrate its Asian premiere at Chinaplas 2026. ARBURG will also showcase an interesting rotary table machine as well as its wide range of products and services in the area of automation – again with a focus on "local to local".

New: ALLROUNDER TREND machine concept

The electric ALLROUNDER TREND is particularly quick to set up, intuitive to operate and easy to maintain. In addition, it offers short delivery times and attractive prices. Another new product is the GESTICA lite control system featuring a modern dashboard. Here too, the focus is on simple operation and a clear interface. The new ALLROUNDER TREND will initially be launched in four sizes with clamping forces ranging from 500 to 2,000 kN and with electric injection units in variants from 100 to 800. The injection speeds are 200, 350 and 500 millimetres per second.

Asian premiere of the electric ALLROUNDER TREND

Two TREND exhibits for standard applications will be on display at the ARBURG stand: one ALLROUNDER 1000 e TREND will produce PCB connectors made of liquid crystal polymer. The second ALLROUNDER 1000 e TREND, equipped with a Flexlift 10+2 robotic system, will produce toothed wheels made of polyoxymethylene. The Flexlift is only available in Asia. The linear robotic system features a modular design that includes application-specific drives, valve units and variable control cabinet positioning.

ALLROUNDER 1600 T for fully automatic insert overmoulding

An example of a turnkey system designed specifically for the needs of customers in the Asian region is the Allrounder 1600 T, which will overmould inserts fully automatically at Chinaplas 2026. The rotary table machine will demonstrate its capabilities by producing high-voltage modules for automotive connectors. A small six-axis robot will feed the metal inserts via a transfer platform and stack the finished moulded parts. A further six-axis robot, a larger one this time, will place the inserts in the injection mould and, after overmoulding with glass fibre-reinforced polybutylene, reposition the pre-moulded parts in the mould so the finished module can be produced in a further overmoulding process.

Solution partner for digitalisation and service as well

As a technology leader and system specialist, ARBURG is not only a one-stop shop for injection moulding machines and turnkey systems, but is also on hand with help on digitalisation and comprehensive services. At the trade fair, ARBURG will also showcase how plastic parts can be produced quickly, efficiently and in high quality with innovative pilots and assistants available in the GESTICA system. An example is the "aXw Control FillAssist" for simulating the filling process directly on the control system. The ARBURG experts will also answer any questions you may have, for example on the ARBURG host computer system ALS, ARBURG's proprietary MES, the arburgXworld customer portal and the range of spare parts.
