ARBURG welcomes 34 new trainees and DHBW students

On 1 September 2025, Steffen Kroner, ARBURG Managing Director Finance, Controlling, IT, Human Resource Management, and Training Manager Michael Vieth welcomed a total of 34 trainees and students from the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) to Lossburg. The new "family members" start at ARBURG with an exciting orientation week.

Varied induction week

To help the trainers, other contacts and all newcomers from the 2025 training year get to know each other better, Michael Vieth and his team started by designing a varied induction week. The new arrivals will have the opportunity to explore the company during a tour of the premises and learn more about the product range and ARBURG as a company. There is also an exciting outdoor team challenge on the agenda.

Teamwork in exciting projects

In addition to their professional training, e.g. as industrial technicians, industrial clerks or electrical and information technology specialists, co-operation across professions is also encouraged in a range of projects. In 2022 and 2024, trainees won the VDMA's "Carbon Busters" award for reducing the carbon footprint of coffee machines and for re-using grinding sludge in ARBURG production. The German Engineering Federation honours young climate activists with this award.
