As a European manufacturer of injection moulding machines, ARBURG has set itself validated climate targets in line with the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). The company is pursuing ambitious goals to reduce its absolute level of greenhouse gas emissions and has committed to achieving net-zero emissions across its entire value chain by 2050. Ever since 2021, as part of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the corporate carbon footprint (CCF) has been determined. Here, ARBURG is classified with a "B" rating. This means that it performs above average in terms of climate protection, ecology and CO₂ emissions when compared to other mechanical engineering companies.
