Successful Technology Days 2026

ARBURG welcomed around 3,750 visitors from 44  countries to its Technology Days from 11 to 13 March 2026, which revolved around the arburgSOLUTIONworld. With more than 40 machine exhibits, a variety of practical applications, innovative processes and smart automations as well as digital services, software and after sales offerings, ARBURG showcased performance in every respect – from standard to high end.

Practical demonstration: Highlight ALLROUNDER TREND

Five electric ALLROUNDER TREND machines demonstrated how fast setup and easy operation enable the efficient production of plastic parts. The new standard machines are available worldwide. They will initially be launched in spring 2026 in four sizes with clamping forces ranging from 500 to 2,000 kN.

Automation and turnkey play a major role

Skills shortages and labour costs are causing the focus to shift more and more to individualised automation and turnkey projects. No matter the problem, ARBURG has the answer with turnkey solutions capable of low unit costs and high quality. The turnkey experts offer tailored know-how for every case of application and support customers across the entire value chain, from the idea to the finished product. Several customer projects and Arburg exhibits showed exactly how clever ideas and efficient automation can be brought to life.

Spotlight on the medical industry: A wide range of clean room solutions

For the growing medical industry, ARBURG had set up a dedicated "Medical Corner" featuring groundbreaking exhibits from the field of medical technology – supplied by ARBURG and well-known partners – including standalone solutions, a production cell that docks onto the clean room and production right in the clean room. No matter the requirement, ARBURG has the right concept. A benchmark project is the "NextGen Medical Solution", a digitally interlinked turnkey system for injector pens based around an electric ALLROUNDER 570 A in a clean room design.

Strong public interest in all areas

Other key areas of the ARBURG programme were also popular with visitors. There was strong interest in digital services and software across the entire value chain. Many of these solutions can help customers to lower their operating costs, thereby saving money. In the arburgGREENworld exhibition area, the company showcased its offerings for processing recyclates and alternative plastics as well as activities that contribute to conserving resources and implementing a functioning circular economy. There were also presentations highlighting the wide range of application technology services, for example for consultation, problem analysis or process optimisation directly at the customer's site. In the service area, offerings for the machine's entire service life were on display. Here, too, the focus was on ease of use. The technology presentations were complemented by interesting expert presentations on all three Technology Days.
