Apprenticeship Class of 2026

44 new apprentices and students from the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) started their careers at ARBURG on 1 September 2026. Steffen Kroner, CFO at ARBURG, and Head of Training Michel Vieth welcomed the new “family members” before they embarked on an exciting introductory week in Loßburg.

Varied Introductory Week

To help the trainers, other contacts and all newcomers in the apprentice intake get to know one another better, a varied introductory week has once again been organised this year. The newcomers will explore the company on a factory tour and learn more about the product range and ARBURG as a company. Another highlight is an exciting outdoor team challenge in the Loßburg “Zauberland”, where the newcomers can demonstrate their skills, ingenuity and team spirit at six different stations.

Teamwork in Exciting Projects

In addition to specialist training, particular emphasis is placed on interdisciplinary collaboration across different professions within the framework of various projects. For example, apprentices have already won the VDMA “Carbon Busters” Award several times. The award is presented by the German Engineering Federation to recognise young people committed to climate protection.
