A byword for reliability in Sweden since 1971
Rafo was founded in 1971 by Bengt Rahmberg (Ra) and Bo Folkesson (Fo); five years later, the company began its partnership with ARBURG. When Stefan Folkesson, the son, took over the reins in 1984, a fundamental strategic shift took place which was to prove highly profitable: From then on, the company focused more strongly on its core business of machinery and equipment for plastics processing, thereby establishing itself in the Swedish plastics market. In addition, customers were immediately provided with comprehensive support from expert staff as well as training courses and a fast and efficient spare parts delivery service. This continues to win over Rafo’s customers in Sweden to the present day. Around ten employees now cater to the needs and requirements of Swedish customers.
