Chinaplas 2026: Premiere of the ALLROUNDER TREND

Trade visitors, who were uniformly enthusiastic about the Asian premiere of the ALLROUNDER TREND, were able to see for themselves the added value offered by the new standard machines. This includes simple, intuitive operation, high-quality technology, fast, short delivery times and low total cost of ownership (TCO). Furthermore, the TREND machines can be set up particularly quickly and are easy to maintain. At the ARBURG stand, a machine was producing thin-walled PCB connectors from liquid crystal polymer LCP at an injection speed of 350 millimetres per second. The second standard machine was automatically producing ready-to-use plug connectors made of POM for the automotive industry and was equipped with an ARBURG FLEXLIFT Cartesian robot, which is only available in Asia.

A fully automated exhibit centred around a vertical ALLROUNDER 1600 T rotary table machine, which performed overmoulding on metal inserts made from PBT to form modules, demonstrated that ARBURG is also an expert in customer-specific production cells. Two six-axis robots were used to operate complex handling tasks. Such complex turnkey systems are designed at the ARBURG Technology Factory (ATF) in Pinghu and implemented in collaboration with local partners. The ALLROUNDER TREND for the Asian market is also assembled in Pinghu. ARBURG also showcased its comprehensive range of services and presented itself as a solution partner for the key topics of digitalisation and the smart factory. Highlights included the company’s own MES – the ARBURG host computer system – as well as the arburgXworld customer portal and the new GESTICA lite control system with its smart assistance and pilot functions.
