FAKUMA 2026: Micro injection moulding

ARBURG (Hall A3, Stand 3101) will demonstrate at FAKUMA 2026 how shot weights of less than 0.01 grams can be processed reliably. Four microfilters, each weighing 0.002 grams and featuring complex geometries, are manufactured sprueless and then deposited separately by cavity. The exhibit features a production cell based around an electric ALLROUNDER 270 A equipped with a micro injection module and the MULTILIFT SELECT 4 linear robotic system.

An electric ALLROUNDER 270 A with micro injection module will demonstrate at FAKUMA 2026 how shot weights of just 0.008 grams can be achieved reliably. Together with the MULTILIFT SELECT 4 linear robotic system, it provides a flexible turnkey solution for the reproducible production of micro components. In a cycle time of around seven seconds, four microfilters made of POM are produced, each weighing 0.002 grams. As the process is sprueless, production is both material- and cost-efficient. The robotic system sets down the micro parts separately by cavity on a conveyor belt. To prevent static charging, the parts are blown off with ionised air via the gripper component. An ionising bar on the conveyor belt prevents them from becoming charged again.
