ARBURG at Plast 2026

At Plast in Milan from 9 to 12 June 2026, ARBURG (hall 22, stand C101–D118) will showcase four innovative exhibits. A highlight is the new electric ALLROUNDER TREND standard machine. Process expertise and the broad product portfolio will be demonstrated by an ALLROUNDER MORE 2000 producing two-component parts, an electric ALLROUNDER 470 A that processes solid silicone and a fully automated vertical ALLROUNDER 375 V for overmoulding inserts. In addition, there will also be a comprehensive presentation of digital products and services.

New ALLROUNDER TREND standard machine

At Plast 2026, an automated electric ALLROUNDER 1000 e TREND will produce the innovative product "Donut-ella" – a three-part reel for USB cables – as a giveaway. The injection moulded part, which resembles a doughnut in shape, won the "Pleiades" design competition (Plastic European Innovation Award for Design and Sustainability) held by IUAV University in Venice, Italy in December 2025. A MULTILIFT SELECT 8 linear robotic system places the three individual parts on a conveyor belt and assembles the top and centre parts. The bottom part is added manually after the cable is inserted.

Innovative solutions and comprehensive expertise

A technically sophisticated turnkey solution based around an ALLROUNDER MORE 2000 will also be on display. The two-component machine produces two-tone dominoes. The injection moulded parts are made up and packaged by a MULTILIFT V 30 linear robotic system and a cobot working hand in hand to produce a complete game set.

The continuous processing of solid silicone (HTV) into cable ties will be demonstrated by an electric ALLROUNDER 470 A. The injection moulded parts are produced using a 2+2-cavity mould in a cycle time of around 30 seconds. The machine is equipped with a silicone package and a customised injection unit.

A vertical ALLROUNDER 375 V with rotary table produces rollers for pneumatic and hydraulic pistons in a cycle time of around 35 seconds. A fully automatic system with a six-axis robot handles the feeding and removal of the inserts as well as quality control and ensures stable cycle times and process reliability.
